Meet the Wellness and Care Consultants
Annie Eaton is the Wellness and Care Consultant for students in the College of Engineering, College of Science, School of Architecture, and the Mendoza College of Business. She received her B.A. in Forensic Studies and her M.S.Ed. in Counseling and Human Development from Indiana University. She is licensed in Mental Health, Counseling, and Addictions. Ms. Eaton has served the University in different capacities over the last 15 years. Her mission is to serve Our Lady's students directed by their individual needs. She is a volunteer coach for the Men's and Women's Diving team. She has two adult 2 daughters and a son and enjoys hula hooping, swimming, golf, kayaking, and crocheting.
Beth Ferlic is the Wellness and Care Consultant for the College of Arts and Letters. She earned a B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in Music from Santa Clara University, an M.A. in Ethnomusicology from the University of Washington, and is completing an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Indiana University. Her research interests include the therapeutic role of music in cultures around the world. She began her career at Notre Dame working with students at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center, followed by 7.5 years in the Office of Development. She is currently completing clinical hours at the YWCA with survivors of intimate partner violence and substance abuse. Beth is passionate about helping students to achieve holistic well-being and to live their best, most authentic lives.
Stella Miller is the Wellness and Care Consultant for students in The Law School. She earned her Master of Counselling degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary, her Masters of Education degree from the University of Toronto, and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Mount Allison University. Stella previously served as the Wellness Consultant for Postgraduate Medical Education in the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where she was instrumental in developing and running The WELL Office – a comprehensive student wellness center for McGill’s medical students and residents. Stella also served as Counsellor in the McGill University Counselling Service, providing one-on-one counseling and psychoeducational intervention for students enrolled in all of McGill’s graduate, undergraduate, and professional degree programs. In her role as Care and Wellness Consultant to the Law School, Stella provides personal wellness support to JD and graduate students at Notre Dame Law School and will facilitate student access to other Notre Dame resources. Stella is originally from Montreal and is delighted to have settled at Notre Dame with her husband and two young children.
Sarah Priebe is the Wellness and Care Consultant for students in the First Year of Studies and Graduate and Professional Programs. She received her B.A. in Communications from the University of Dayton and her M.S.Ed. in Counseling and Human Services from Indiana University. Most recently, she was an Academic Advisor for the College of Health Sciences at Indiana University South Bend. Her Masters fieldwork was conducted over three semesters at the Indiana University South Bend Student Counseling Center. She enjoys working with students as they face challenges that arise both in and outside of the classroom. She and her husband enjoy taking their daughter to Potowatami Zoo, Notre Dame athletic events, and to Chicago to visit family and friends.
